Israel warns: free soldier or PM dies

This is great news. The Hamas thought they could subdue Israel by their voilence but Israel paid back so badly that Hamas might not exist in the near future.

What do these descendants of the "illegitimate child of Abraham" do now? They go into hiding...these brave matyrs!!!

They go and complain to the UN after they know they can't win.

Another person likely to get crushed in the foray is Syria's Assad. I did love to see his body blown to pieces so much so that no funeral box is required for the burial.

Kudos Israel, let other countries afflicted by Islamic fundamentalism learn from you. There should be Zero tolerance for local Israeli Arabs too - these people should be oppressed or atleast kicked out because they give out information to the Palestinians.

 

Although I usually support the hardline stance, I think this may be a bit too far. I wholeheartedly support Israel or any country for that matter who decides they want to go in and take back a citizen (and soldier), but threatening assassination of the prime minister makes it look as though they want a full war. The Israeli soldier isn't going to be harmed, and surely he'll either be returned or rescued by the Israelis, but why take it this far?

Well, it is already a war, given that several Qassam rockets fall on the Israeli town of Sderot every day. If Miami would have been targeted with rockets every day from Cuba, wouldn't that be war?

That's really a great point. If we had a neighboring people blowing themselves up in a mall all the time, killing our citizens, blowing up school buses, etc. We would march in there and exterminate them. But Israel shows far more self-control than I really think they should.

Um, they're already at war. What do you mean "full war"? Like actually using weapons? :O They've already been doing that...

 

That's a horrible comparison. For one, the militants who shoot those rockets and kidnap people are not government army, they do it on their own. If a couple guys from canada came to the border and shot some rockets into the US... do you actually believe we would go declare war on them? Or kidnap their government officials?

We also aren't occupying Cuban's land the way Israel is occupying Palestinian land

So where's the comparison?

 

Israel are not terrorists,only a selective few are.They are simply initiating a rescue mission,the us does this to there prisioners in iraq and there controlling the iraqs land.
I would advise you hippy's to read before you pass judgement.

Whats your point? The US soldiers in iraq are committing terrorism to. Far worse than Israels. Instead of kidnapping and assassinating government officials like Israel, The US soldiers are raping and murdering civilian families.

 

The palestinians land and homes were stolen from them to create Israel.

There must be some big issue out there.

 

Of course, it's a multi-sided conflict that gos far beyond just Israel or Palestine.

We have the non-arab world deciding how to split up the arab's country:

 

Wrong. They have a democratically elected government (which has done nothing but make things worse), therefore, they do share in the responsibility of those that commit these crimes. They do not do it on their own, it is part of their overall government values, to eliminiate Israel.

 

Actually, Israel was there first... try 3000 BC. Check the Bible or even the Torah if you don't believe me.

 

Wrong again. Israel was Israel long before islam was ever invented. Who stole what from whom and when? History did not begin in 1948.

 

Don't forget too. Pals were being killed and expelled from Kuwait, but the Pals decided to not try and blow Kuwait off the map. There was also no moral indignation when Jordan (who kicked out the Pals in the 70's or something) denied them entrance again. It is only against Israel, where people insist that the Israeli's live among people who want to kill them.
