my site is http://alcohol-addiction-control.blogspot.com entire side bar along with all ads goes below the last comment when i view my site in ie and crazy browser , but in firefox my site looks fine. i am not able to sort the problem and correct it . I tried various templates changed html codes, placement of ads but was not able to succeed . pl could anybody help me in this regard. also pl review about my ad unit and link unit placement thanks in advance
Your adsense ads are too wide. Choose a different format or just choose 3 instead of 4 units. This should fix the problem. Looks good otherwise. Col
pl specify me which one , i tried changing square ads to a vertical one, but it didnt solve the problem, are u specifying about the leaderboard which i placed on the top.
Aaaah. It's a leaderboard? There's your problem. No leaderboards on blogspot blogs unless you change to a custom template. You could chat with RTBanfield about how to do this. He's pretty up with this sort of stuff. Or, you could try placing 3 squares inplace of the leaderboard
Are you still experiencing this problem in IE? When I viewed your blog in Safari, I did not see any problems.
ya i have the problem still, i can see the sidebar at the bottom of all to right in IE as well as crazy browser, but in firefox it always looks fine. pl help me with any template or html code thank u in advance
I've had this problem before with one blog that I messed around with (I think I eventually deleted it and started a new one to fix the problem), but let's see if we can fix this. OK, here is the important part of your source code: @media all { #content { width:660px; margin:0 auto; padding:0; text-align:left; } #main { width:410px; float:left; } #sidebar { width:220px; float:right; } Try making the following changes: @media all { #content { width:700px; margin:0 auto; padding:0; text-align:left; } #main { width:410px; float:right; } #sidebar { width:200px; float:left; } Hopefully this will fix the overlapping, along with moving your nav bar to the left (which should increase CTR) Additionally, you should change the ad unit in your nav bar to a 160 x 600 wide skyscraper Let me know what this does for you...
The above code has helped me to float my side bar to the left, thanks banfield, but still the side bar was under the comments area. finally by trial and error i found the image i post above the leaderboard ad was the culprit. I removed it and the site was fine in crazy browser, anyhow i always loved that imaged over my 728*60 ad, but not was not able to have it.
Finally i have made it alright. thanks to Tyler Banfield n The Whimpering Warrior for helping me in this regard
