Logo contest Winner gets $75 and second place $25 via paypal wish to end it in 72hrs

DrDesigner: everything looks good but please try and follow my layout/example thumbs up icon on some background, city name next to icon and then some kind of a line all around the whole logo.

manuji, I think it looks way too close to what TheAge designed. The top one is just a bit too plain for my taste.

 

Heh come on mate, if you're going to steal something, at least make sure it's not another persons entry in the EXACT SAME THREAD.

DrDesigner: I like them both. Can I ask for one more change? I am not sure if it's my monitor and yours could already be red, but can you do it in a coca cola red? Yours on my screen looks a touch towards burgundy.

DR, it must be then it's my monitor that is playing up. I am at home now and I remember that seeing after I came from work one day one particular logo had a totally different shade on the home monitor. Don't change colours then because if you win I believe anyone's logo can have the colour easily changed.

@TheAge: I'm sure your logo will have a better layout than mine. It's impossible not to

EDIT: DR, just now I saw the new one with the new shade. This one definitely looks more like coca cola red even on my monitor. Great effort and let's see what the other designers come up with.

Martyn: It is certainly unique and original but I think it's a little hard to get the message right away that is a thumbs up icon.

Yeah i was not too happy with the thumb icon myself, ill try re work that, thanks for the feedback, people dont usually leave feedback liek this and its much appreciated. Im sure i speak on behalf of all entries.

 

I appreciate it Martyn. The thing is my icon should be for all age groups and that is why I don't want something too modern and funky which may be great but would be targeted mainly to the younger audiences and I need something for all ages so to speak. BTW, I leave a rep to all entrants and I will leave one for you too but dp won't let me do that right now as I already left too much reputation in the last 24hrs
