I've got a lot of work ahead with content, only a few days old. Just wanted a review on the design and lay-out please if anyone has time

Something about it reminds me of one of those ad sites. Like "Win free XBox Now!" or something. Nothing against the design itself just looks too cluttered to me and maybe try positioning it all the way to the top on y-axis.

I'm still considering changing the whole template...decisions decisions !

I understand that this is a new site.
The topics are very good, and they do have potential prospects.

I think that you should choose some topics for the theme of the site.
So real estate rentals are not related to computers rentals.

The site is good for further development.

heading text is a bit small for my liking, and im 24yrs with 20:20 vision. maybe think about bringing it up a font-size or two.

but design part is liitle weak i think....you need a good Header design for your website.

The truth and nothing but the truth, your website is about car rentals not - pretty houses and really cool waterfalls.
Make it a focal point of your service i.e make your website about what the domain says it is. Heres a cool tip that i have done with my websites.
SUbmit your website to google local.
and also submit it to yahoo local directories and only relevant local directories.
You dont need to be listed in every damn neighbour hood out there.
One more thing, try this change your domain whois from private to public and get a southland highlands adress and zipcode.
Trust me on this one , your website will rank higher for in the southern highlands area for the term you are looking for.

Little confused on some though
The website title is:
Southern Highlands Rentals..which means it will have a range of different rentals products..real estate, car, computer, software etc etc from the Southern Highlands Area So I'm not understanding why some reviews have mentioned Change the headings?

You may have looked at the old template before posting your review, so sorry if that's the case, I re-designed within a day of posting review request.

 

The layout is ok....but i don't like the header and the footer....they don't look professional....try to make another banner....use blue....the green color that you used is not so nice...

 

I very quickly designed the banner myself using basic tools. I agree need someone to re-design for me, thought ok for a first go considering I've never designed a banner before
