$150 Site Design Contest - PayPal Payment and Other Projects Guaranteed

Hello Everyone,

This contest is for one of our latest projects 'FriendsNu' URL: www.friendsnu.com

It will be a general chat forum, but also a forum where people can form groups and take part in competitions to win prizes and earn credits. We are hoping it will be very successful and so we need an excellent design to help us on our way, which is why we have decided to launch this contest here because of the great work you guys are able to provide.

We would like a home page and forum design, we want it to be very clean and very simple. We also purchased an image which we would like to be used on the sites homepage: http://i735.photobucket.com/albums/ww360/giganu/iStock_000000762108XXLarge.jpg

We like the designs of www.skype.com and www.chatlife.co.uk and we'd like a site based on these designs (preferably Skypes design)

Also, instead of the blue on skype we would like a shade of orange for originality (like on chatlife)

As for the background, we would like it to be white, but with the pattern we have on our other companies homepage: www.giganu.com

We will be paying $150 to the winner, and also guaranteeing future design work as reliable designers are hard to find these days.

Does is need to be coded?? I can probably design something up but if it needs to be coded it may take a little while

 

Do we need to submit both the home page design and the forum design? Or will you ask that a forum design is created after the contest is over?

Lipgut: Well if you can code it that would be an advantage but for the purposes of the contest a design is what we need

austin-G: If you submit a homepage design, and we like it then we will ask for you to design the forum design

Something I forgot to mention in the original post is we also need a LOGO designed to go with the site.

 

It's different... you will either like it or dislike it.

I'm not sure I understand what you're looking for when it comes to the homepage. Are you looking for an actual website or a splash page which links to the forum?

 

Starting working on something from scratch...

Then read the instructions halfway through and realized you wanted a white background with a pattern.

Gave up.

By a homepage I mean like on Skype, it draws your attention to the site, provides you with the latest news and information about the website, but keep it clean, not too much text.

austin-G: Really liking the look of that, could you possibly make the white sketch which overlaps the image slightly more crisp and maybe make into into images?!
