    Hello guys,
I have been working on Joomla,Drupal and Wordpress since 3 yrs now. Now,im thinking to start working and developing stuffs for Magento..

Before I start doing R & D on it,I want to know,if anyone over here have tried MAGENTO and its stuffs.

What framework does it use ?

How do you think, magento is going to rock the e-commerce market ?

I like Magento. I think they may surpass osCommerce popularity one day (way in the future). In my opinion, it is easy to use. And a biggie to me, it's search engine friendly right out of the box. Template Monster is starting to make themes for Magento. I really think they will grow a lot in the next few years especially as they work to improve it.

    Right,Magento looks very very promising.
I hate osCommerce and Zencart. They are so ugly..

Magento is already ahead of them now,as its completely unique with its superb features.
    Lets see..

The main thing Im looking at is the Template Clubs for Magento. :)

I also think that Magento has a bright Future. Although it is also a big Resource Hog yet. But I hope they will manage that issue in the Future.

Ive just been looking at both Magento and osCommerce, never used one of these scripts before so still looking and reading.

But you mention above ugliness, do you mean how they look from the front end? or do you mean overall, like working with it?

I agree, if it can overcome its load speed problems. It is very easy to implement and use but the load times are killer.

I can't speak for Mr. Goldberg, but I think osCommerce (out of the box) is ugly over all.
