This is my survival forum. In april of 2009, the site will have been online for 2 years.

Topics include hunting, hiking, camping, wilderness survival and general disaster preparedness.

If you have any suggestions on how to improve the site please let me know.

damn dude, that looks pretty good. I mean it's obviously vbulletin, but the colors are nice and definitely look like Camo!

It does look a bit like DP! So I better not criticize too much...:D

The only problem I could see was your header image, in Firefox it displays an overlapping left border, leaving a small jagged edge on the right.

I had a feeling I knew you from somewhere with that avatar - I've been a member of your site for a few months now (slugvivor) and would say that it's one of the best survival sites around. There's so much good info there and it's always active -it's almost overwhelming. All the members are very knowledgeable, you could swear each one is an expert at something different.

Haven't posted in awhile but i will certainly return soon. Great site.

I like the look of the forum, but I would think about adding a wordpress blog to your main URL, it's a great way for articles and content. I know it would be a whole rearrangement as far as your URL goes, but that's what I would do if I had that site.

also, change the default favoricon :D

Its amazing who your going to run into on the internet. Thank you for being a member of my community.

I have a different domain name that acts as my blog - survivalboards.com

In the forum I have a recent blog post modification installed. So when I post a new blog article, it appears next to my name, very much like Digitalpoint does. This creates a linkage between the 2 sites.

Everytime I update VB I have to restore my custom favicon. I have just neglected to do so after the recent update to VB 3.8.

    Good forum with interesting content.

The site itself appears to be stock standard design, but then, stock standard are usually done very professionally.

Good to see that the site has already survived 2 years. I wish you more of it.

My only suggestion would be to make the site look different. Spend some time on reworking the design to get away from the standard look.

I haven't said this much what little time I have been a member here, but darn that is professional!!! Great job and keep it up.

You should make phone calls and interview survivors of disasters and what did they do in order to make it through them and post the link to a recording of your phone call with them.

You could invite your members to listen in on the call and there are companies that will record your conversation and send you a DVD or file of it. Then the members that attended got the priviledge to hear it free real time. If someone wants to hear it, small paypal fee and they can download it from your site.

This is a very nice forum, and it's built around the unbeatable vbulletin with a very powerful design.

The forum looks good but I think it would look better if you add a logo to it.

    Hello,
the design doesn´t really impress me, sorry. The header looks way too "old" for me.
