There is something not quite right here as Brian pointed out. You have a notice that the business is closing yet you are selling the business. Have you issued this notice to your current clients? if a new buyer takes over what are the gurantees that the clients will stay? after they have been told to "pack there bags"? Sorry if this post sounds out of context but something is not right here.

You are asking around 1k for a business (which has switched names) and clients that you have told to leave.

    It does not make sense.

    Thanks

Now that you point that out, it's true. Not my company, GServe is the guy selling it.

the site will close if no bidders are sought therefore as a good manager i have made my clients aware that they are best to backup their serices incase we do close and no buyer is found.

the price for this business is now between £300 - £500

i also forgot to add that we have been recieving hits in the region of 30k a month.

You have posted here that the 'business' is running at a loss. In an earlier post you state that there is lots of hard work involved and that it is important thi sgoes to a good and committed owner. How can you justify any value on something which is running at a loss, state that you want it to 'go to a good and loving home' yet reveal that you are willing to abandon it. This sounds more like a hobby - not quite a white elephant. What price would you accept - rather than close it down - given that you would like to see it continue in loving caring hands?
