Since the next PageRank update is expected in the end of February, here is an estimated chart that helps you to understand how many links of what PR you need to get your desired PR. This is just for an idea. We can argue on the Importance of PR, tool bar PR, Its crap etc etc for the whole year. So If you got some Good opinions On PageRank, please share it.
but then the site updation/freshness factor is also involves in the whole process see see I have told ya guyz that we can debate on this issue for a long long time
from your chart I`m understand there is always a multiply ... ( can be true but .. ) this number of links are considered to be unique domains / links for your site correct ?
Not exactly the unique domains as Google assigned PageRank to Individual webpages not the whole websites.
According to this chart my site should atleast jump to PR3 from PR0...maybe even PR4 if i get some more link... Hope to see the update soon !!
I dont see how this chart can possibly be right. There are just too many variables. I've also seen sites pick up a PR4 from one PR5 etc... The last PR update was january, so by my reckoning the next one will be sometime in March?

Nice facts but I on the believe that pr update will be on the last days of February. It would fall under the last week of march or the first week of April.
FYI, I just saw some pages I'm familiar with increase and drop in PR over the past 3-5 days. It has begun....
You can get PageRank from only having 1 or 2 backlinks. I have many sites which only received a couple of decent backlinks and then go on to be given a PR of 3 or above themselves. So to say you need X number of thousand backlinks to achieve a PR3 is basically incorrect.
