Thing is, these custom built machines don't come cheap and it isn't easy finding $50,000.

Because I went to Catholic School and they put a HUGE emphasis on Soccer. Recess = Soccer
Gym = Soccer
Sports/team = Soccer

Our soccer coach was a scum bag. By today's standards he would have been put in jail. He beat kids, kicked them, punched them, etc., during practice (when the parents were not there) punishment for poor performance, or not doing something right. He was a real good Catholic that SOB.

What kind of idiot wears shorts in the dead of friggin winter? The whole game was never any fun, our coach was a complete prick, and all you seemed to do is run back and forth, back and forth. There was never anything exciting about it. To this day, I cannot understand the draw.

Watching that movie "Kicking and Screaming" really seems to highlight everything that sucked about soccer.

No offense. My grandfather loved soccer. I have a Pele Ball (seriously). My grandfather had to deflate the thing to fit it in his valise on his way back from Italy. In doing so, the customs people ripped the valve out. So I have a deflated Pele ball.

To me soccer is about as exciting as taking a bath in penzoil and raw sewage. Again, no offense. It's just a sport I can live without.

I played hockey and baseball. I had originally played football, but broke my arm the first time out (age 7). Too dangerous. So I switched to hockey. Much safer!

 

So you're still undecided about soccer then?
