Google Dropped the PR on my Site

Is a very well built site by me, it had a PR2 a few months ago and all of a sudden back to 0.

Is it because of the ebay affiliate links or what, does anyone have a theory?

Should I cloak them or maybe add no follow to them, or I shouldn't worry about that.

With that many affiliate links, it could very well be the problem. For 'camaro z28 parts' you are currently on the 6th page, which is often a sign of a penalty. Many other people on this forum are dealing with a similar penalty. A lot of those websites are thin affiliate websites, which also applies to your website. Your main content is affiliate links with little unique content. You may want to try to add at least 300 words of unique content to all of your pages.

The links at the very bottom of your page may be a problem too. Are those your own websites or are those paid links? Either way, Google might not like those.

I would cloak the links and add no-follow.

I definitely would nofollow, but, I'm not sure about the cloaking because I don't know much about that.

You should always prevent giving juice to your affiliates. :)

Did you do a data center check, or just the toolbar?

nofollow is safe. By the way, you shall check on your backlink too, maybe some of your backlink was removed or some backlink website PR drop

As others say "no-follow" links are safe to protect your web site PR.

Yes, nofollow is used if you don't want to pass pagerank out.

Outbound links will not devalue your PR :) Don't know where others got that notion but its not true whatsoever....if anyone doubts that, go find what the PageRank logarithm is, and learn how outbound links do not dilute PR.....

Apparently Google sees your site as a thin affiliate site as mentioned above and I would have to agree.

Another issue hurting you is your site loads very slowly....need to get that fixed.

Another issue that could possibly be hindering you is the fact you are using a .org TLD which is typically meant to be used for non profits and other charitable grousp and organizations.

You also seem to be be interlinked with your own sites....so if those sites were passing PR to your site Google probably devalued them recently.

i dont think its the outbound links to your other sites. other SEO experts would advise you to have them. but it wont hurt to put no follow to your affilite links but not on the links to your other sites or that would make no sense having them their if u cant share page rank among them.

Seriously, I say keep your juice at home. If you don't block the pr being sent from your site, then your site's interlinking will have less value, right?

I mean, the guy says he is ranking low now. So, if he's got juice being delivered from his pages, obviously he's gonna lose value through the loop.

Wow, this shouldn't be as complicated as it seems, should it?? Google keeps me at the NOOB level. :p
