Lukather, all the details are in this thread. You just go to SayItAloud and register. You can then start submitting originalarticles in any of the categories we have. Once an article goes live our sales people go to work selling the space on it and you get half of the income generated that way. A two part article fully sponsored pays the writer $135.00. The smallest amount a writer makes if only one sponsor is brought on board is $17.50.

That's all there is to it and everything else is on the FAQ section of the site.

    TOS violations?

Not sure if your questioning SIA or asking what TOS violations are.

What if I understand various tips and tricks about getting traffic by reading content from other sites to then create my own article on "how to get traffic" which may have some twists and turns, will turn unique, and similar articles may/may not be found elsewhere on the web.

How many advertisers are going to hunt for? One per article? In that case, let's say tomorrow there's an influx of about a couple of hundred articles in a single niche, then how would you go about the advertising thing?

Also, is this Write and get paid up to $135 a time-based offer, or something you plan to make a way to build business forever?

Do you only offer "promise" here? or your system already proven that the writers could make money from this. How if they submit articles every day but the article never got advertiser? Do you have any compensation for that case? I am not a Writer here, but I just do not want they submit high quality articles which eat "their" time without proof that they will get the money.

I won't get paid for the article if it's under 600 words? I just wrote my first one and it got approved, it has 530 words.

    Cheers

Say It Aloud provides some answers in their terms of service. I quote:

"...I accept that I will not receive payment until a minimum of one ad is sponsored at which point Say It Aloud will send payment via check, PayPal, or other forms. Say It Aloud is not responsible for any payments which are lost or undeliverable...".

Unless you like giving your work away, you might want to think twice about this proposition because the SIA terms of service say:

"...I understand that all writings submitted to Say It Aloud become the sole property of Say It Aloud and will not be used, sold, or distributed in any other way than agreed to within these terms of service except when given express consent by Say It Aloud to do otherwise..."

The rest of the TOS can be read at:
    http://sayitaloud.com/index.php/faq/51-terms-of-service.

You get to write on topics you enjoy writing on and get paid if the work is good and marketable. darklight, those terms are not unusual, in fact they are normal. With the first clause, the site is basically putting the onus of providing correct information for payment on the writer. Without that clause, they would be liable for wrongfully sent payments due to address errors on the part of the writer. As for the second clause, it makes sense for them to not want writers to reuse their work. Bottom-line, if you think you can sell the work for a definite price somewhere else...you should probably do that.

There are plenty of jobs, both freelance writing and in other fields, that pay based on incentives. That is all this job is. And Sacremento Website Design was upfront about that from his very first post. In fact, he encouraged applicants to read the ToS. It really isn't his fault if a lot of people just didn't read his initial offer.

I think this is worth trying out. What's the worst that will happen? I spend a few hours writing on topics I enjoy and get paid nothing? Not a big deal to me.
