as far as i know the sand box is for new sites who arent in google's index yet and good quality links help them to get out of the google sandbox faster
The "definition" given in the article is this: If that's a good definition of what the "sandbox" is, then I'm the CEO of Google. Howard
There is no such thing as a sandbox for Google. There is what is known as =time to build trust=. That is plain common sense..... Google is a recommendation tool and as such they are not going to recommend a new website that they know nothing about. One needs to build trust in any relationship be it personal or business. Hope this helps dispel SEO myths such as a Google sandbox, that those who are not SEOs like to offer as an excuse to hide their inadequacies..
Then how do you explain my keywork results going from #1 result to completely gone then back to #1 a few days later. This process has been repeating for about a month now.
That is known as Google making algorithmic changes and your sites SEO work being less than great. Under a sandbox if there was one.. your site could not be found at all for many months. However it was simply an aging delay which is to be expected. Please feel free to reread my post above yours for better understanding.
My seo is excellent. My keywords have been in the top spot for months. They just dissapear and reappear for days at a time. If my Seo was less than great, then why would google give me the #1 spot for so many keywords?
My sites and my clients sites don't bounce at all..........some are in top positions for over 4 years. I cant say if your SEO is good, bad, or great... but bouncing around seems to indicate your lacking a bit somewhere. I also have no clue of your keyword terms ...you could be ranking for - flying carpets for sale in east piscatawy new jersey - Which is very non competitive, and simply having a page name with that title... will often see top results on Google. And before one does a self assessment of how well they have SEOd their site... they should probably have top results in over 10 different categories for two or one word terms..... Hope this helps
