I need some feedback on my SEO Expertise. I just established a site (Car Theme) last mid December domain was purchase on Nov 27, 2008. After doing some SEO technique my site now has a good ranking in Google from this keywords. car themes #5 free car theme #1 car wordpress theme #7 automotive wordpress theme #2 car joomla theme #8 automotive joomla theme #2 Vbulletin Car Theme #2 Car Theme #3 blogger car themes #1 free car wordpress theme #3 What do you think of this Google ranking? Please rate from 1-10 and please give some comment. I am not sure if this ranking can be easily attained and if this keyword is competitive, I am new in SEO field. Thanks
The truest measure of successful Google rankings are in the targeted visitors receive; and sales or sign-ups you convert (or other measurable goal). We can't grade your success not knowing the amount of quality traffic you are bringing to the site with your rankings. Care to share?
Well its not that your SEO skills are all that great, but more you bought a domain with the main keyword term in the URL. Try to do that with a domain without keyword term in the URL then you will know how good you are.... and as the very pretty Tara has noted....SEO is about much more than pretty rankings....traffic that converts to a sale or lead is the ultimate goal usually and the main metric that one would use to measure success of an SEO campaign.

At the Moment I am have almost 50 UV from Google and having some download in our free themes. It converts from 1-3 clicks on adsense per day. Do you think all of that is from domain only- not from link building??
All of those keywords have 'car theme'. That is also your URL (inURL) tactic. doesn't have too much to do with any other SEO as many times you can rank highly for less competitive keywords if you have the inURL for the keyword. Try 'buy new car' keyword longtail phrase, even if its irrelevant to your site. lol
Thanks for your opinion. But this keyword it very competitive "buy new car" 368,000Searches.OMG. I'm sure you cannot even reach top 50 for this keyword in just 2 Months I am just a newbie in SEO. What i want is your rating if you think that is just an ordinary SEO then you can give less.
1. You do not rank for the term buy new car...... 2. Search numbers are known to be distorted...add 10,000 SEOs trying to find their position for the keyword termn "buy new car" and its easy to see the terms numbers are exaggerated. 3. New rankings are usually temporary due to new links... once Google scores the links to your site the rankings typically fall. Seeing as its a new site and the last scoring update was right after you bought your domain wait a few months and report back about where your rankings are then.
To be blunt, if you're only getting 50 visitors a day from keywords that are positioned at no.1 and 2 in serps, then they are keywords that very very few people are searching for.
Considering you are new to seo I would give your seo profile a rating of 7. These are decent rankings, but as people have pointed out, not many people search for those phrases. So there isn't much competition and not much traffic. What you need to work on is keyword research. Try this keyword tool: https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal After you search for a keyword change the match type to 'exact' for more accurate results. You'll want to find some keywords with more traffic. Then work at building more backlinks while rotating among your target keyword phrases as link anchor text. For these keywords you should be able to aim for top 3 for all of them.
3 and 4 keyword phrases are not very impressive but you have done a great job on "car themes" to get onto the front page, however as pointed out, this has alot to do with the fact that you have the keyword in the url. on a side point your main page has multiple h1 headers tags...did you design all the themes if not did you get permission from author to include on your site, rating 6.8 keep up the good work...
