    Is there anyway?
    If yes, how much the cost will it be then?

    well, just tried google "google" today, and a news from cnet had number one from that term ... :D

    I believe there is a way :).

    Maybe they are not stupid. But who says by allowing other site to get #1 for google term is a stupid thing ?

    Not hard to do, but not cheap at all.. Googles current Market Capitalization is about 110 billion, make a tender offer of about 200 billion or so, and you can make your mothers cooking recipe show up #1. Good luck to ya:p

    You would have to work hard everyday at building quality backlinks. It is also would depend on the keyword you are trying to get to #1 for.

    I personally don't think it would be possible. According to Yahoo, google.com has over 270 million backlinks. A lot of those links would be from high quality websites. It just isn't feasible to match that kind of link power. It really would take millions of dollars to get that ranking. Then once Google notices it, they would find some reason to penalize your website.

    It is possible. But, It's a very hard thing to do. For the search term "google", the only website (not owned by google) that rank highest is wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Google) which is ranked #13

    I think google would have put themself first on the search result if anyone search for that keyword. so forget about the backlink etc.
