Should I Optimize each and every page of my site??

I have some sites related to web site development, web site design, computer based tutorials. Every site has around 40 to 50 pages including profile, testimonials, about us pages.

though I have updated each and every page with suitable titles and description but I think it was not needed.....

For me, I do only optimized pages that are important like for example homepage, contact page, product page.

If I were you, I would make a template that is already optimized. And yes, optimize every page so you get as much traffic as possible.

To answer the other question, there are many optimization factors, but the two most important things on the page are the title tag and the h1 tag. Make sure they closely match. Inbound links from your site and other sites should match the page title and h1 tag as well.

The more you optimize generally the better the site will perform in organic rankings. Look at the optimization of "obscure" pages on your site as a way to capture the Long Tail of search, and those less searched on phrases that are still very targeted.

Remember not to over optimize your pages though. It can have a damaging effect in my own experience. Don't over do it, but DO have good content, titles, alt image tags, H1 tags etc. Just don't hammer your keywords al over the page.

According to me, you dont have to SEO the support pages... Its really a waste of time.
You can focus on optimizing real content pages...

It is always advisable that you optimize every page of your site by creating different meta description and keywords for each page. Needless to mention proper titling and proper related content to the niche of your site is absolutely mandatory.

yes, you don't have to do them all at once
if you have a hierarchy structure setup for your pages, optimize the top tier and work your way down

My advice is: dont seo the about us, contact us page.. because there will be millions of pages.. and is of no use

If you opt to optimize, you can optimize for keywords like "about company_name", "contact company_name" etc.,
but still of no much use if no one searches for "about company_name"

    Hi,

I'd 'hand' optimise your home page and probably the main category pages. After that I would try to use default entries like the product name for the title tag, H1 tag etc.

Yes you need to optimize your internal page also to get good traffic and to be in top. You have to do it because the user will get the most relevant page he requires when we optimize for our internal pages also..
