    I'm designing a website and I'm interested in getting someone to do it for me. How long would it take for someone to do that and how much would I pay them by the hour. I'm also looking for someone to take the position.

    The type of site, the individual etc would determine how much the site would cost you.

    There is a guy on these forums that does sites and coding for $35. Look up his name with the search Tiger Websites

    And the price depends of the work type, difficulty and quality, so you need to describe the details, but please, do this in Buy/Sell/Trade or PM.

    There are too many things you have to consider before you ask someone to do a page or you. It's almost the same if you say: How much do I need to pay to build a house?

    A basic site should cost around $300 to $500
    This excludes Flash and layout design.

    A custom design which requires serious art work depends on the quality of the artist. Top artists will get very high fees.

    To keep costs down Templates such as those found on template monster are the best way to go.

    This way you can be up and running with a cost under $600.
