Do you see it right to Mix Girls and Boys in Schools?

Do you see it right to Mix Girls and Boys in School?

I mean some schools in Mideast and other countries prefer not mixing girls and boys together for some reason.

So what do u think? Is it good to Mix? Is it better not Mixing them?

Im just doing a tiny multicultural research.

Hey, Mr.Kiwi ,I am from China .
95+% of the school here mix boys and girls from primary school, middle school to colleges .
It is normal .
We will feel strage if the schools seperate boys and girls .

 

I do feel it's better in the long run as wierdo posted they are going to have to interact with each other eventually.

But at the same time I have found that girls I know who went to all girls schools have actually done better with their exams etc as opposed to the ones who went to mixed, maybe thats because of the non-distraction of boys on their minds or maybe they were just better schools I don't know.

But the same can't be said of boys who have attended just boys schools!

At least thats what I have noticed anyway.
Personally I went to mixed schools and am just fine

 

I say it is natural for boys and girls to enter act in society. I live in the US and have been going to school with the opposite sex since preschool. It's not to big of a deal.

 

It is not that bad till the age of 12-13 as boys and girls will get more chances to mingle with themselves!

 

Of course they should be mixed and both should have equal status.

 

They must be mixed... I come from a town that actually had an all girls school up until a few years ago... and let me tell you. Parents likely sent their girls their hopeing to keep them pure and what not... but I can tell you from experience that keeping them cordoned off like that causes theexact opposite effect... those girls have a lot of pent up... lets say... energy for the sake of being politically correct.

 

I personally don't see the point in separating them, it's sexism in my opinion. Wierdo & drmike has it right, they need to learn to interact together, before being set loose in society which is entirely mixed.

 

I think it is best if we mix boys and girl upto the age of 14 and then divide them.

 

hats pretty much the way it was here in my town... we had mixed elementary and middle schools, then there 5 high schools... 4 mixed, 1 girls only...

The girls from the girls only school definetly had a reputation... now if you are trying to raise a society full of nymphos... then hey by all means seperate them, because that is exactly what you will get.

 

Indeed its right to mix girls and boys in schools. Delinquent children are not created, they are a result of the malfunction of a society and if we are not allowing them to mix we are just not right. Let them have the opportunity to interact with opposite sex, I personally find it no wrong.

Very truly said! If you try and suppress things in children, the same desire gets magnified and they learn from all wrong sources.
