Well, I guess article marketing still works... At the beginning of January I ran into an article presenting the concept of Bum marketing and explaining how it works. It all seemed kinda plausible, so I decided to give it a shot. After registering with Clickbank and choosing 2 similar products to promote, I managed to create a landing page using Blogger. Then, after doing a little research, I hardly found the will to write a few articles. In about two weeks I had 10 articles published with EzineArticles, all linking back to my landing page. Since then, about 10-15 unique visitors have been visiting my website every day. So far, about 300 people have seen my landing page, and 11 of them have actually bought (minus one refund). That is exactly $198.30 in my first month (see the attachment). So I guess this should be some sort of inspiration for people that don't seem to make it work or don't think article marketing is still worth. I find it hard to make a list of things that helped me accomplish this, so I'll let others ask the questions. I would be glad to answer
Great job. Did you sell both of those products on the single landing page? And did you purchase the articles or write them yourself? Now, you can just do the same process ten times over, and you should be making almost $2000 a month.
Yes, I am promoting both those products at once, stating what advantages each has. I wrote them myself.
11 sales from 300 impressions is an incredibly high conversion rate, especially using a Blogger landing page.
Great work, Dirty Butch! Did you promote your landing page in other ways, like submitting it to the search engines and directories?
No, I actually prefer to promote my Ezine articles, so that they could rank better in search engines. Well actually, because I am very lazy, I have only created 4 hubs (with hubpages) linking back to some of my articles. I have also bookmarked these and some of my articles using OnlyWire. That's about all I did regarding promotion.
Thank you! The conversion rate is indeed good, but I think it can get even better. One small tip: when writing an article, focus on helping the reader and give useful information, not on explaining how great the product you promote is. PS: One more sell - $220
Congrats and kudos for being open with your methods for the affiliate base here. Also LMAOOO! @ your username N.
Just Blogger I picked a nice layout from eBlogTemplates.com, created a few blog posts and made it look like a regular website, not like a blog.
good move with free tools, best of luck, have you wrote the articles yourself or outsourced it? I have made just 64 bucks in about a year by never marketing my site
Money & Employment, with low gravity. I guess not only high gravity products can sell As for where I got the articles from, I said it before: I wrote them myself. Cheers!
