    ??????

    Your posting is incorrect.

Google has one penalty and one penalty only..It is a ban from the SERPs.

Everything else is a filter applied algorithmically....

Please do not post misinformation !!!!!

My PR went from 1 to 2. I don't know exactly how recently the change was, but it was sometime within the past month or two.

    They just called me ;)

Since its not affecting all the sites, doesn't look like an update. You can call it speculative or just a guess. :)

PageRank is a Google internal scoring system which raises the PageRank assigned to webpages.

However this is done daily for Google employees....and as such, some webmasters who are actually clueless.... feel that it does not effect all sites ...because they cannot see the effect via the Toolbar.

And this is why 99.999% of PR threads are mindless dribble.....:D

Where are you checking your sites. Many PR checkers are often down and what you may have seen as PR0 might have just been down or not correctly reporting at that time. However, it could be a small adjustment from the last update. If everyone remembers, last year about the same time Google had a small adjustment just shortly after a major update.

I have seen no changes but it could only affect a few sites.

My PR is still at either 0 or N/A, depending on which pages that are viewed. I have a fairly large site, and I think it's capable of PR2 if I structure my links better. Google has lots of indexed pages from my site that basically no longer exist which is bringin me down.

I think they are just playing around with things, however, I did just see a PR5 site go to PR0.
