How do you save money?

Money, ya gotta have it when ya need it, so how do you save your money for a rainy day? Do you keep a separate account just for bills? Maybe you give it to someone else to hold for you? I can't keep money in my pocket as theres a virtual hole in all my pockets, besides money seems to be allergic to me.

Two words: Direct deposit. I see very little of my money. It mostly sits in the bank collecting dust.

Well I agree, just deposit the money in banks for long term plans so money will be saved and we get some money from it too unless Bank is not secured.:p One more thing is investments in Gold which always be good way of good returns.:D

My choice is by make a bank fixed deposit. Minimum deposit is just $500 there.
Off course, try to not use up all of your money for your lifestyle only.

auto debit from my savings account to another account. I usually leave my ATM and cards at home so I wont be tempted to buy stuffs i dont need.

The daily expense is high, I hardly save any spare money .
If I start to save money, the first step is spending money corresponding to my income .
