I can't understand google

    i am running a forum and i build link for two keywords Message Forum and Freeware Files,

    when i type Message Forum (without quotes), i can't see my site in search results, even i searched the top 1000 results i can't found.

    But when i typed "Message Forum" (with quotes), i got 3rd position.

    Same for the keyword "Freeware Files"

    what is the problem with my site

    It's just that your forum is not good enough to attain that ranking position due to competitiveness. I wish I could explain better but as you can see from the search result, Message forum can mean a lot of things and those that ranked high above you is not exactly targeted to have both keywords to run sequentially. Something like "largest message boards and forums on the web"

    In all honesty, it is difficult to get 1st page ranking on search engines for broad search terms. You really have to have fresh unique content, valuable backlinks and a useful website. Google is smart about which websites contribute to the internet and which ones are the same washed and dried junk.

    The best way is to build back links as much as you can for the targeted keyword. If the keyword is so competitive thousands of back links is essential.
