Google Banned You Without Reason?

I read from some forums that Google banned a lot of publishers' account without giving any reason. I myself don't quite believe this as Google is a big corporation with good reputation. Moreover they have an excellent support service where they have replied to my enquiries promptly usually within 2 days time without fail. What do you think?

Well Google will never ban any publisher 'without' a reason. Most of the time the publisher is just not aware of the reason.

Its always good to read their TOS carefully and follow it accordingly.

They can be vague about some questions. They like to tell your to read terms and not answer some questions.

Most who have been banned know what they did but do not want to say.

Most publishers got frustrated because of not giving the exact reason why have been banned!! Their TOS talks about lots of things and if you break any one of those you'll be banned, but you can't find exactly which one you broke thier TOS..

My site, nuttyprices.com had its adsense ads closed after 2 years of having a successful account. It received a huge volume of viewers after a recent TV spot.

I understand that a newbie has all his friends click his ads in hopes of making some quick funds. But I've had an account for over 2 years! There must be a reason! Yet the TOS states that they need not give a reason.

I posed possible reasons for the overnight success (TV spot) to Google and said that there must be a mistake. Their response was, "We've closed your account, kept the funds, and you can never open another account with us."

Pretty harsh! Now I strive daily to warn people to not get involved at all.

They'll give you a reason, but they're always vague.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your appeal.

After receiving your response, we re-reviewed your account data thoroughly. We have reconfirmed that invalid clicks were generated on the ads on your site in violation of our Terms and Conditions and program policies.

We have these policies in place to help ensure the effectiveness of Google ads for our publishers as well as our advertisers. According to our policy on this matter, we are unable to reinstate you into the program.

As you may know, publishers disabled for invalid click activity are not allowed any further participation in AdSense. For this reason, you may not open a new account.

Please bear in mind that subsequent or duplicate appeals may not be considered and you may not receive any further communication from us. We appreciate your understanding.

    Sincerely,

    The Google AdSense Team

most of the time if they banned without warning, that means you definitely broke their TOS. (sometime you didn't know that it against the TOS) so better to check everytime that your site and ads not go against the TOS and you would be fine.

No such thing. As know that there are too many people try to cheat google and finally they fail it. Anyway, some of them are innocent but the number is very less, maybe one out of million

This is the problem of the monopolistic market...

Even if few people do carry out blackhat methods, that does not mean that all people are corrupt and needs to be handled with the same stick...

The situation has come to such a level that people are afraid of too many clicks...however genuine they might be!!

    Regards,

The problem is that : Google do not give you a chances to fix that invalid clicks. If you are doing business online , you will certainlly have several enemies or competitors.
Image if one of them pay 100 bucks to advertise your site in autosurf , PTR , PTC sites ? Google will ban you after 1 week or so without any reason , you do not know why , and they do not hear your explaination.
Its a cheap way to ruin ones competitors and I am the victim of that BS. If google start to receive invalid clicks from one publisher account , they should send at least one notice email so that the publisher can know whats going on and to protect themself.

Google has been extremely generous with me. I had several notifications of inappropriate content display and I always corrected it. They will not ban without proper reason.
