Let me take the first set of languages I know, 1.) SAP ABAP 2.) Java 3.) Cobol 4.) VB6 5.) CSS/HTML 6.) PHP Now its your turn!
Java (2 semesters) Visual Basic (1 year) HTML (is not a programming language) CSS (also not a programming language) PHP (6 years) COBOL (currently taking class at Illinois State University) C++ (1 year)
I see two people here that know COBOL. Since it is one of the highest demand languages now that the the original programmers are dead, I assume both of you work as COBOL programmers for some company and make $100,000 to $200,000 per year. My "languages" from oldest to newest: Apple BASIC and some TRaSh Basic Assembler (Motorola 6502 and some Intel 286) Machine FoxPro (most used today, actually does most of my HTML & Javascript programming for me) HTML Javascript
it was a long time ago.... that does sound familiar. i remember one called HESBAL, but mostly it was just short routines in hand coded actual hex codes. i was only a kid. lol i almost didnt write that one as i am in severe denial about my age. my first computer was a VIC and then moved onto the 64. unless you count the card punches at sydney uni that my cousin used to take me there to play on, when i was in kindy i forgot Perl C++
The only languages I can sit down and write without reference are X/HTML and PHP. Which is kinda sad - but it's all I use these days. Buried somewhere in the murky depths of my memory are Lingo and ActionScript.
yeah i could add actionscript also if murky depths are counted too go the wiggles... i saw them live once and they totally rocked (seriously)
You are still a kid. I was in Sydney for a week about 1970 or so when the Opera House at the Quay was still under construction and long before the tunnel under the bay.
Well I knows following Programming languages: C C++ VB Java HTML C# Want to learn some more in study.
PHP JavaScript AJAX ( JavaScript tuned version ) ASP Perl ( still learning ) C# ( game programming as a hobby ) C++ ( 3 years in university ) Visual Basic
