Ben & Jerry's should trademark this and make a new flavor ASAP.

What I don't get is, if digital TV is a requirement by law...

    why isn't owning a computer?

I think the government should mandate all US households with a digital TV should have a computer in the home.

Plus, they should mandate everyone with a computer run at least Windows XP. And, if you have Windows XP, it should be required by law to have high-speed internet access.

Plus, if you have an XBox 360, the government should pass a law mandating you have XBox Live. XBox 360 isn't the same without it, so they should pass a law requiring it.

Maybe I should just give it time. I'm sure Congress will get around to it.

You don't need computers, computers can be used in really 'educating' people.. Evil stuffs like internet, you know. Where truth is really hard to hide.

The government needs to mandate that all cars made by US car companies come with HDTV.

From what I have been reading, we now have a HDTV gap with China.

600 million in the stimilus isn't enough to close the gap.

    HDTV lol
Tv is a priveledge not a right backwards people. THE Dtv Program which I answered phone calls for people applying for the coupons from Jan-July of last year. there are alot you don't understand about the program. I have met the NTIA administration, I know the rules of the coupon if you knew the rules you would be laughing your @z off. When Mr. A called in jan to get the coupon we gave him a confirmation number it took about 3 months to send the coupon and when he receives it he had 2 or 3 days to use it before it expired if he was lucky. When he called to complain or try to get a new one we would deny him because only 2 coupons were allowed per household.
Don't get me started on what we did to the Puerto Ricans that is a book in itself. The whole coupon thing is a scam. one big scam...

I had like 2 weeks to use mine not 2 days. Not sure where you are but I would think it was universal across the US in policy.

Puerto Ricans are entitled to HDTV because they are American citizens.
