You second post is not displaying correctly. I get some code or an error message. The design looks good though.
i'm not sure that the theme is propper for da hole ideea of the site , you could serch another or you cand personalize this one . do somethink about the second post .
Hi Jackie W, I love the template, and I do think it fits fine with your theme... (and you already said you were going to change the header graphic, so I will not comment on that) I have a few suggestions for you: 1. The hover effect for the site title, the blue doesn't look good, change it to something subtle (try: #ffffaa or something around there) 2. Just the H1 title, to make it look a little more "title-like" try doing something to make it a little different - I played around with it and using Times New Roman (ONLY for the H1) I thought looked nicer. 3. The post titles - either make the font size smaller, or make your post titles shorter - but the title going over onto 2 lines looks very bad. 4. The "posted in" and "post date" (in other words, non-linked text) in the posts' header needs to be a different color - you can't see it, so it looks weird. 5. The "read more" link needs to stand out more 6. In the second post, the "dig submit" where the comment link should go looks like an error 7. The ads in the left column don't align well with the template's boxes, they are a little too big and need to match up with the boxes better... Also, the Cigarrest one looks terrible - like you enlarged a low quality image... 8. In the footer - move your copyright somewhere else, and make it more visible. Your colour combinations are nice but i don't know why i am not getting any professional expression from your header/logo ... You got very less content tooo and may be it wll look much more better after its more categorized and getting some detailed posts about smoking too.. Overall nice design though Thanks PHYza
Try to change the theme into a "frightening" one that creates an impression that the effects of smoking is really really bad. Or, at least try to put some images about smoking effects
~Thanks for everyone's comments, still waiting to get the header sorted out and to implement some of the changes suggested by starme. The site was only uploaded/installed yesterday so thats why no content yet - plenty in the schedule queue though Site was spidered and indexed by google within the 1st hour or so which is pretty good even if i say so myself
I love the 3D look, and the graphics are great, but it needs a little work on the sides of the layout.
You need more content. Your categories, pages and archives boxes are almost empty. More content you have, more time your visitors will stay on your site.
I like the design. It looks kinda cool. The only problem is content, offload about half of the content you have in the queue
phew! other than the coffee cup image, all the other suggestions have been put in place - be grateful for any other comments or suggestions
