Okay, so they banned me from Warrior Forum because of my name?! (lol)

I joined the warrior forums under a name "ManWithTwoArms" (and bought the private membership). Some hours ago I posted into this thread where people asked "why use/not use your real name".

I told that I didn't use my real name simply because it's difficult to remember and difficult to pronounce (especially my last name can be tricky for English speaking people) - and *that's the real reason*. I prefer people calling me by my nickname... since it's a tricky name.

Well, some hours later I come and check out the site to see this message:

Well... that's nice

I checked out the thread again... and see that my post is no longer there (and apparently my post was deleted by some mods)

Seriously... I'll *never* use my real name anymore anywhere

Oh well... I thought Internet Marketing forums would be so hasty in banning people

P.S. And... I didn't advertise affiliate crap, advertise or spam do any stuff like that in their forums (well, at least I didn't notice - heh). I usually tend to write pretty constructive stuff like for example here so really made me wonder how come they decided to ban... was there something in my name they disliked - or whadda heck did I miss?

P.P.S. If anyone happens to spend time at the warrior forums, I'd be one happy camper if somebody could help me get message to their moderators/admins and help me get my ban lifted.

Well, I basically didn't know who to contact there (or how... since I got banned).

And thought to share this story here perhaps hoping to hear if somebody here knows what could work there (or has encountered something similar)... or if somebody knows (or wants to help me) how to lift that ban heh.

Honestly, I'm not actively involved with Warrior since last year. So, i believe if anyone here who active there please help our friend to clear his nickname. I never knew there is a rule not allowed us using our nickname

Yeh, well sure DP is the #1 forum... and I intend to stick here

...but that doesn't mean one couldn't learn from other sites too (and the fact that I actually paid for their private membership)

 

I haven't even heard of the Warrior Forums so it can't be that good Stick to DigitalPoint and everything will be okay.

 

I rarely visit the Warrior Forums because there is simply just too much crap there....much more than DP.

I'm not saying DP is necessarily better....either, but I always get the feeling that everyone is trying to sell me something there...and there are many "gurus" with big egos hanging out there.

lol that's mildly over the top, even for the Warrior Forum.

I've read both forums as far back as 2005, but I've only
just started getting active here. The Warrior Forum definitely
has gone downhill a little, as far as quality, in the past 18
months...

But I've still learnt a hell of a lot about IM from that place,
I owe it a lot.

And hey, maybe they're just better at flogging stuff at
the WF, that's why all the sales pitches are more noticeable
than they are here ;-)

 

They also banned me i didnt do anything wrong.
I get the same message "banned date never lifted".
Not even possible to contact them ans ask them "why?".
Lucky i didnt pay anything, but threating members this way will destroy your site.
Its ok to ban bad people, but why ban people who didnt do anything wrong?
Not that im Warrior addicted, just the situation what makes me feel strange.
Terrible people...

 

Well, warrior forum is not such fun to browse. I will love to stick with DP and some other similar forums but not forums like warrior forum where forums are also not nicely differentiated.

But also, I got an acocunt there and will use if I need them..seriously.

Anyhow I did a search for banned from the warrior forum and ended here.

Date the ban will be lifted: Never

I have only made 30 posts, dont think I spammed and was a paid member of their war room.

I could of spammed by mistake I would never spam on purpose.

Bit upset about it really.

I had no warnings either.

Any ideas?

Well I would like to clear my good name plus I only just paid $26 for a subscription.
Am I allowed to put my blog in my signature and ask peoples opinion of it as its my first one?
