Hi, I've got a wordpress blog and I'm just wondering if its possible to find out the visitor stats for each of the pages of my blog. Not sure if maybe theres a plugin for it? Or is there another way of checking from within Wordpress? Or would I have to look at my web host stats? Thanks for any help
I use Google Analytics to accomplish this. In my opinion that's better than having individual stats plugins for each blog. Since I own dozens of blogs, it is helpful for me to be able to see the stats for them all side-by-side. That helps me identify trends across all of them, like what kinds of posts are bringing me the most visitors, and what kinds they actually read (which can be determined by examining the page-view durations). I hope that helps!
Here you go. Popularity Contest keeps a count of your post, category and archive views, comments, trackbacks, etc. and uses them to determine which of your posts are most popular. DON.
Using google analytics and the analyticator plugin for wordpress, once you have analytics in place on your blog and it begins to show stats in analytics you can see your most popular landing pages.
Thanks for the advice. I would like to see which posts are most popular but I would also like to see more general stats such as the unique visitors to my homepage, to my 1st, 2nd and 3rd pages, etc. Not just the popularity of specific blog posts. Regarding Google Analytics would I have to install the code onto every page of the blog? Or just the index? Thanks again
