How hard to rank for this Keyword?

Guys, how hard would be for a new site to rank for the keyword phrase "california health insurance". I see there are over 900k results, but just wondering for a site that is about 6 months old if it would be possible to do in about 2 months of work.

 

Three phrase keyword is easy compare to single words.

nope... it's much easier to rank a 3 word phrase keyword than single word keyword...

health - 1.8 billion
insurance - 481 million

 

Don't forget to check the backlinks of the website in the #1 spot as well. If you can beat them out you are pretty much a shoe in for the #1 spot.

 

It is not difficult to rank for this keyword phrase. the reason is the geographic targeting done by it i.e. California. It will be very easy to do it in two months. Go for local optimization you will get the ranks

 

Ya, surely you will get the result about 2 months of work because I did the same for my hotel site and I got the results.

I agree...check the backlinks amount and work on beating the #1 spot... don't use autobacklinking programs however or google will likely sandbox you.

 

No one can let you know how hard one keyword to get ranked on top SERP without analyzing the website..

 

Not commenting on the time it would take to rank for that particular keyword. Too subjective and relative that is to make a guess-estimate.

Approximately 20,300 web pages are targeting that particular key phrase in their title. Now I consider them serious competitors and therefore you are up against some serious competition.

6 month old website could rank for that term but would require a sound strategy and effective implementation. You will have to go all out.

 

I don't think it is too difficult.Just as lifeplayer saying,it is three-word phrase.And it is easier.Relatively,it is a long tail keyword.

 

Yeah it is not too difficult to get this KW on ranking.
At the end all depends on the hard work u do for the site to get into SERPs

Though its a keyword phrase it is competitive in your location.You are correct that there are 900k results,but what i suggest is if you have keyword oriented domain then your keyword will rank quickly.As you said your domain ins only 6 months old,it will take time to get indexed as google crawls your site for every 30 to 45 days if you have a good(avoid duplication) content.All you need here is to wait and watch or you have a option of hiring an expert who can do this for you.

 

Here is the weird part guys. I searched this term and there were 900k results. Now only a few days later it has 22,000,000 million results. I don't understand why this is happening?

 

maybe it is a broad search Sometimes, these broad search terms may not give a meaning and will produce a lot of results..

 

Its easy to rank for "california health insurance", but if the phrase is without quotes will be harder, but not so much

 

Now it is bring back 200,000,000 results.


So it went from

900k results

22,000,000 results

200,000,000 results


All these changes all in a matter of days.
