Recession - What's your take on that ??

So everybody are talking about Recession for no good reason. I mean isn't that word used more than ever these days ? I am just so sick of it. If it does exist, then it hasn't effected me in any ways !

But just out of curiosity, I wanted to know what Recession means to them..

You probably aren't competent enough to see how it's affected you.

For me, it's meant my longtime gym closing down, my company not making as much profit as before, and my personal websites tanking in revenue. I know it's very real.

It hasn't reached us here in Panama much yet. It will though.

We've built up to the wazoo, and there's still construction going on. There won't be money for anyone to buy apartments.. prices will tank.. construction will stop. Sales will slump.

Gotta grab all you can right now.

It's funny what you said. But the truth is I my life is going as usual. And you had to close the gym. Look who's incompetent !

No hard feelings... All I am trying to say is that the current situations worsens the more you're scared of it.. Face it. It's just a short time Recession not a soon to be worldwide Depression..

Hmmm Panama, dude I just dunno why you make me feel Recession is one kinda Tsunami lol..

+ Rep to you my friend.. LoL.

Your cow must be an intelligent one because it has in depth knowledge about world economy and you can tide over your financial crisis by selling the talented cow for a premium :D

There are unseen hands that manipulate all this shebang. As global media continues to magnify the issue, more and more people will hide their money under their beds, which is bad for the entire world economy, since we need money to circulate.

Lesson in 1997 Asian Financial Crisis:

    1. During the crisis, US investors bought several troubled banks and companies in Asia.
    2. Four years later, they sold those acquired Asian companies back to the original owners, with a profit margin of more than $1 Billion for every company sold.

A few people will be laughing all the way to the bank contemplating of the so-called recession.

In a way or another there is no escape. Exception maybe on gambling or forex. Even the mighty G is affected somehow.

It's the same amount of milk. But people aren't buying as much of it or aren't paying the same high prices.

Fo example, sales at Starbucks are down. Starbucks sells more milk than coffee. So every lost latte sale is one less customer for your milk.

Recession will effect the middle and low class families in the coming months very hardly. So I advice people to have as much liquid cash in hands and dont go in purchase of home ,car or buying a loan

business is slower everyday...a lot of small firms are closing down...people are losing their jobs...prices are increasing...this is recession, no doubt.
