    - Contact Yahoo to unblock your domain name and ask them for the domain EPP key
    - Walk to the new registrar's website and place the transfer order.
    - While placing the order, you will be asked for the EPP key
    - You will also need to make the payment for the domain renewal as per new registrar's renewal price
    - Once the order has been placed, you will receive emails regarding to authorizing the transfer.
    - Once these emails are approved, your domain will be transferred to the new registrar within 7 business days.
    - After the trasfer, 1 year will be added to the current expiration date of the domain.

    wow, $34 is too much.
You can have a lot of same .com domain with that price.
or maybe a domain name with a webhost with that price.

but I headr that you need to transfer a month or two before your domain expired right?
or else the will not allowed you to transfer it.
It is really hard to get out from yahoo domain.

i think you buy domain for $1 in the first year.
So, Yahoo give expensive price to renew in the 2st year.

You can't transfer to other registrar due this rules. You should read agreement when buy this domain.

Don't forget, After you transfer from yahoo.. login into your Yahoo account and CANCEL, they will still charge you even know they are not hosting it... they have tried to charge me for 2 years now. both times I had to call them and discuss this.
