Sounds like you need to be doing SEO. Last year I used Brad Callen's SEO course and now I'm #1 & #9 for google & Yahoo. Best of all its free

 

To me it sounds like you need to rethink the concept of your site. Does the visitors come back, or are you having only one-timers? Would you come back to the site yourself if you had nothing to do with it? Is there any real value for the visitors?

 

along those lines:

1. Is your site(s) worth visiting? (If not delete/or rework them and make 2 or 3 new ones.)
2. Post content that your visitors need and are despearte for.

 

The only thing you need to give up on is your marketing method. Try something else but don't give up. Just keep trying different things, eventually you'll find something that works. When you finally do find something that works for you then duplicate it over and over again.

 

Go ahead and give up... less competition for the rest of us.

 

Are you doing "made for adsense/YPN" sites?

Do sites on something you enjoy.

Print some flyers with your urls out with "sexy" images and put them on car windshields like police do tickets.

 

Create I million sites, that way if everyone only makes a penny a day youre rich!

No seriously, I agree with the above comment learn seo and provide quality content

Build the site for the users and the profits will come naturally!

Sorry to hear you've had so much trouble.

I've been putting in a lot of work with almost no results too, a penny a day at best. I`m hoping it'll pay off. How many sites do you have ?

I've slowly started to expand using free blogs (blogger.com) and free webhosting (fsphost.com). I still only get a penny a day (at best) but I think if my umbrella expands big enough I`ll catch a few more pennies.

learn the keyword density, if it goes higher than %6 percent, you will be able to rank high on most SE, if not, optimize it.

 

I go on KW density of 2.5% for Google and 5% for Yahoo and MSN.

Well that is assuming that I can be bothered - lol

 

Using forums to get traffic to your site is good, but if you stop posting in them then your traffic descreases and eventually dies as your posts go deeper into the site and eventually die.

It is best to do keep using forums, but also do other advertising / marketing methods so that you can try and get one way links on other sites to other than forums.

 

Doesn't just happen, you've got to work for it.

Please don't do this. Spamming cars is just as annoying to everyone else.

Finally, find something you enjoy doing. If you've got sites you hate working with and the only thing you're doing for them is spreading SPAM, stop. Do something else. Anything else. If you really want to provide a service or relevant site, do that. Thinking you'll "get rich quick" is flawed thinking. If you need money and aren't seeing it through this avenue, try something else.
