I like the layout. Two things I would change in my opinion. The flashy bar in the top should be a tad slower for the slow readers like me. And the footer is 100% which seems somewhat off compared to the rest of the site's layout.
thanks for the great suggestions... slider is now changed from 4 to 8 seconds. that should be enough as there is also a pause button
