    I can only tell you about meta tags.

    They go near the top of a webpage, within the code, for example

    <meta name="keywords" content="search engine marketing" />
    <meta name="description" content="Search Engine Optimization and Marketing forum." />

    The above is taking from the source code of this page.

    They dont build traffic, they just give a short explanation of the page content, used by some search engines, and sometimes what a visitor sees underneath a url after performing a search.

    Look around the forums and the net about search engine optimization, you need to do a lot of work before you can rank towards the top for any good keyword(s)

    In simple terms Meta Tag is an element placed in the HTML Header portion of a web page’s source code. It is not visible to web browsers but it provides search engines information about the website but not visible to web browsers. This tag will describe and classify what the contents of the website are. These codes are the information that is supplied to search engines about a page for them to be able to list the site and accurately index it. It does not help in drive traffic..

    As advised by others, learn about how you can help your site rank higher, read about seo.

    Get backlinks with orkut graphics in the anchor text, and variations of that, submit your website to free directories, comment (dont spam) on other peoples blogs.
