Do you mean that you are going to use a different pc?

the answer is no, many webmasters are using more than one pc.

Not if the transition is smooth. Googlebot hates downtime. Also, make sure none of your URLs disappear. Googlebot hates deleted pages.

no...u won't be punished by an IP change, unless that particular IP is punished by google of which chances are very less if you move to a reputable hosting company

Just make sure, that you do the DNS update correctly and you site loads perfectly from the domain name after the IP change

You do not get spanked or anything like that by Google.

One important thing which is taken into consideration is to check with Google whether the IP you are gonna use has earlier been banned by G. If its YES, then your site might go for a toss. Even if its YES, I suppose submitting your sitemap to G through Google webmasters would serve the purpose.

As earlier members had already mentioned, Down-time plays a significant role here while moving to different IP. Take an absolute backup first, change the IP and submit to Google as soon as the transition has completed smoothly.

Providing that the IP you are moving to isnt blacklisted or disliked by google (ie; has been used for illegal operation etc previously), you should experience no punishments from google due to an IP change.

As suggested before, just make sure the transfer is smooth, and that problems during are resolved asap, and you will receive no losses, for google works on a domain basis, not IP. The same domain, with the same site, will inevitably be treated the same, nomatter what IP it is hosted on. (providing that IP is on neutral grounds with Google, of course..)

Most webhosting companies would not offer blacklisted IP addresses... So you've very little to worry about.

Good luck with the transfer, songjiekun!
