Do I still need to do directory submissions?

Hello Everyone,
Do I still need to do directory submissions, already I'm getting good traffic by doing social networking, bookmarking, blogging etc..

 

Directory submission is helps you to get PR juice than traffic.
I think you now shall submit only to strong / high PR directory

 

I think always directory submission must for any website

 

You don't want your backlinks to drop/decrease in number from time to time, but you want more backlinks, so keep working.

 

always be on the look out for niche related directories. when you come across one, make sure you submit your url.

 

Go ahead and continue because this will help boost PR and still send you some traffic.

 

If you're looking for traffic then directory submission is useless UNLESS it's a niche directory, more specifically a high-traffic niche directory. In my opinion social networking and bookmarking is better in terms of getting traffic but submitting your sites to niche directories can still give you some good targeted visitors so you should do that too.

 

If you have time to do them, then absolutely keep on truckin'! Remember to keep it classy and intriguing.

If you don't have too much time, then try to at least submit to ones with some existing content.. no ghost towns.

 

Do not worry.Directory submission will get its popularity in coming future.Because there some really genuine directories which are to be considered.

 

It depends on you, if you think that your SEO work is already enough then be contented but you could always submit it to directories for better indexing. Remember that a lot of webmasters are always competing.

 

If you've done enough listing in directories now you should invest your time for linkbuilding and organic listing.

I would still get the directory links personally, but make sure the directories have some PR otherwise it aint worth your time

If you're satisfied with your SERP, you should probably spend more time on family / girls / hobbies, etc. and not submitting to directories.
You can't rank higher than N1 anyway

However if your site is not exactly in top 3 then directory submissions might help to improve your SERP and PR a little bit.

 

I submitted to many directory but only little approved and no single BL from its.. what is ur experience on it and also requesting u to share the directory list form which u got BL

keep always things for future........dont wait for your website to go down and then doing starting the things......

 

Only good and relevant directories can increase your pagerank and all site ranks.
One backlink on good relevant site can replace( REALLY!!) 100+ directories backlinks..
