    I want to know about anchor text, what are these and what is the best way to use it from a SEO point of view.

    Here's an example -> It's google. The link point to google.com and the anchor text is "It's google". When you link to your website from any other site try to use your targeted keywords plus it's variations as the anchor text.

    The usage of keywords in your link anchor text is a major part of the Google algorithm. Just be careful not to get spammy and quickly get a whole bunch of links all with the exact same anchor text. You want your link building to look natural. Natural link building would use many different anchor texts.

    Anchor test is one of the most important elements in SEO today. If you look at the HTML example, the red is the anchor text "keyword phrase" should match very closely to the the title of the page it's going to.

    <a href="http://www.bulldawgz.com/" title="English Bull Terrier For Sale">English Bull Terrier</a> or the live link English Bull Terrier

    Go to the site and view source to see how the link here matches the title on the home page of bulldawgz. This should be done for all external AND internal links to make Google happy.

    Using anchor text links within articles, blogs, forum sigs, etc. builds links for certain keywords you wish to rank for within the search engines.
