OK here it goes, I know I won't be popular for saying it, but I like phpBB.com, it has a very nice template and phpBB is also great for forums in general (go to Community).

The best looking forum I know (not to pick on digitalpoint here for not suggesting it :)) is most likely www. sitepoint. com/forums/forumindex.php

Their site is great looking. Of course I am not a professional designer, its just I think their site is amazing looking.

Do you really think that i care about the reputation especially it it comes from someone with so bad attitude like you.

However you are looking for ideas to be stolen so i will not get lost but rather you should stop stealing designs.

Some people work for months to come with an idea about the design and you go there and steal that in a minute. C'mon at least don't deny that you are doing that.

    Cheers ;)

get a life man. just cause u do it doesn't mean everyone else does it. a thief sees the thief in everyone.

look carefully at my site and tell me if we sell forum templates. sheesh.... and u have absolutely no right or basis accusing me of anything since you know absolutely nothing about me and you are just spouting rubbish out of THIN AIR.

but from your own accusations, i have a pretty good idea what YOU probably do.

ps i know u don't care abt the rep, but at least it warns others that you know absolutely nothing abt what you are talking abt.

Are you just in this thread to cause trouble? You have no proof of the claims your making at all.

As for forum themes, have a look around do a bit of research on Google to see what's about.

To start with, you have no evidence of this and in my opinion appear to be a complete idiot.

    Anyway, back to the topic.

Some of my favourite forum designs are:
    • Sitepoint
    • Designers Talk
    • Webmasters-Talk
    • Talk Freelance
    • Webdesignerforum

Sorry I didn't provide links but they can easily be found on google.

I love SMF. If you use SMF, be sure to use DilberMC template. You can download the template at simplemachines.org. Proceed to customize section.

He wasn't really asking what to use as a forum software. I think he was more asking if we knew any forums that we thought looked good so he can code his forum design based off our picks.

You are alright Eric! It is so obvious that he is looking for designs to be copied/stolen.

I really don't know what kind of evidence would you other people need to see his intention.
    It's so obvious;
show me good design so i can copy it as i am in lack of ideas.
Isn't it enough for you? He Has Clearly Indicated His Intention to Copy Someone's Design:

usually when someone does not have the capacity to create an unique and good looking design then he/she engages someone to make it for him/her. Why you guys support copying of someone else work?

The Default SMF template is beautiful. Also, politicity.net has a stunning template also. You also cant deny that the vB template is also quite good, many think its boring. I generally prefer clean templates. Good topic by the way. If i see some more, I'll keep ya posted.

VBulletin has many hundreds of templates our there. You may want to consider VBulletin? However it does cost
    :(

    I hope this helps.

A forum design that I like would have to be AdminFusion's template. I love the sleek look of the homepage and the thread views.

Are you stupid? I and so many other web designers look at other designs for inspiration and to give us more ideas; and we improve on them. Are you even a web designer?

Somebody is stupid here but definitely i am not the one! Look at the mirror you will see one indeed :)

May i ask you why you consider yourself as designer? You recognize that you are adapting someone's work and you still claim that you are designer. You are nothing but lamer .. yes that's what you are. And all of those who support the idea that upgrading (or whatever you call it) of the original design is legitimate ... :D
