    Hi,

    I have a website currently having 40% to 45% search engine traffic and the keywords for the website are competitive and having good Avg search volume. But still not having good amount for SE traffic. Please can any one suggest me how do i increase SE traffic.

    Search engine traffic depends upon the way you have optimized your website. Less keywords are easy to target then to target several keywords. If your website revolves around a few keywords then you will easily get it on top instead of targeting several keywords. Secondly, get some inbound links from those websites who relate to your keywords.
    This is the key to success and this is what i have concluded till now. I myself am a junior website and i am in this field from 2 years only.

    when you somewhere left link to your page, post links to subcategories in additional to main page
    try optimize your pages at most for 2-3 keywords

    Do some basic on page optimization for your main keywords. You should use keywords that people would use to find the content in your niche. Get them in the page title, page description, H1 tag, and of course the text.

    Then get some links back to your site with variations of those keywords. That will help you get more search engine traffic.

    To increase search engine traffic, you need to rank high on keywords that have high volume of searches. Target those kind of keywords and you'll get the number of visitors you want. Creating content will also help your site, by creating quality post to your site, there is a chance that you will target different search terms without optimizing for it.
