Godaddy has a control panel but it's not "cPanel".
BTW, Godaddy also has an "unlimited plan".

I would recommend Thinkhost and Hostgator. If you want to go for VPS, look no farther. Go for Knownhost.com. The customer support is simply exceptional. I am speaking from experience.

Ill suggest you to go with Hostmonster, Bluehost, hostgator, or globat.
These are the best in my opinion with great services, reliable and fine support as well.

I use Hostgator since 2007. I never had any problems with them.

In my opinion, they are the best.

P.S. Read some reviews related to web hosting, and after you have done that, make your decision.

    Good luck!

dude, dude! Xtreemhost.com is the way to go! Believe you me they rock! All you need is a domain name and your set! With over 24GB (I Think, 20658 MB or something like that but its a lot) of bandwidth and 800MB of disk space and and and cURL enabled, php send mail and they update all of the PHP scripts when you ask! And if your site goes down they make the extra effort to help you out! Dude go to them and get the dreadest free host on the PLANET! If you sign up, please PM me on their forums so I know that I am helping them for their excellent service they have given me, all of my sites are hosted with them, try googling (FinalFRACUS, HavocDynamics), they are the most excellent host I've ever been to!

The thing is, do you want to go with a host who oversells mad? If so then your on the right track on choosing hosts like hostgator etc.

For good paid hosting go for established businesses around 2-3 years old. 24/7 Support. They tend to be the less oversold hosts.
