Trying to get adsense to "Show" in my WP Blog

I started using the most recent Version of Word Press...and tried using it's default Adsense manager or whatver its called.

For some reason, the ads aren't appearing anywhere when I preview it. I've even installed the extra plug in "variants" of Different Adsense Manager types.

With no avail....is there something I'm missing that I'm doing wrong?

(WP has a pretty nice set up though, just cant get those ads to work. lol)

    THere's

All in One Adsense and YPN

    Adsense integrator

    Adsense Manager

And then there's the "Built in" one where you see "Ad Units' on the left, paste in your code......figured that's all I needed...THAT doesn't work either. lol

please provide us with some more information about your site.

PS. Sometimes it takes upto 30 minutes to have your ads displayed on your site.

I am using adsense manager for one of my ads. The purpose is so that I could use it as a widget on the sidebar.

The other 2 ads was placed manually into the template.

I hope that helps. Of course, you can take a look at my blog if you want.

I think that goes for people who just signed up for adsense, right? I have abeen an adsense person for a while. Just took a leave of absense

    Endangered Species Blog

I just have the default, and did a couple of TEST posts.

okay, I went into Widgets added 2 of them (after first installing the Adsense Manager) and then RE-named them "ad" 2 times....now the left hand column of my menu is missing but I see "ad" and "ad" under on the right side now...but with no adsense ads actually showing.

So I guess Im on the right track lol

i checked adsense preview tool and your site is OK to display adsense ads. it appears that your adsense ads are not displaying due to coding issue. if you dont have enough space available to accomodate the ad block, then the ads will not show. you can play around with different ad sizes and see how it works

The Adsense manager for Wordpress doesn't seem to work properly, I've had many problems with it and gave up in the end and just created a new widget. I wouldn't spend much time with it, if you need help with coding, there are many simple tutorials on how to place it on your website - just Google "How to place Adsense on my website" etc.

    Good luck mate

I see there's no content on that page at all. Maybe adsense script unable to determine what ads to be shown. Try to add some contents.

    Use adsense Injector - http://www.biggnuts.com/adsense-plugin/

I use it on most of my blogs. Very easy to set up/ Just upload/activate and go to the manage page and add ur pub id and choose colors, amount of ads, and sizes you want.

Just use the Prosense theme, it is an adsense ready theme. You just edit via FTP and add your code.

The site is preventing me from linking to it, you will have to Google it.

Looks like I go the PROSENSE working

    Check it out

    Endangered Species Blog

Though, it's still showing the "How to make money internet marketing" -type adsense.

But I heard that gets replaced by the content of my blog....eventually.

I have this theme on one of my blogs and If I remember correctly you cannot use the 468x15 ad below the post because it pushes your ads on the right and the navigation menu.

Also whenever you write a "post" in this theme it automatically makes a bread crumb link just below the header. Which might be causing your ads to push also.

You might have to change your php files manually instead of using those plugins.

The PHP should be labeled in your theme folder as adsense_homepage_banner.php

    Hope that helps :)

Yeah, when I added another (2nd Post) it took AWAY the right hand column of the BEST lay out of GOOGLE ads. But it added that crap in the middle(with the grey background) and in the "block" to the left (upper-left)

I deleted the 2nd post....and it brought back the Right hand column of adsense ads (which is how I want it)

Anyway to keep that from happening again?
