I have $4000 +Is Internet Cafe Business Good for it?

but 4K in our country (Philippines) is not bad at all, i mean for us. it is a big money. 4K is enough to pay Licenses of cafe, renovation, furnitures, 10 PC's and No employees, because i will be incharge of taking the Cafe.

but 10 PC's for me is not enough, its not that big business as i want.
i want to start for over 65 pc's . and im looking forward for it . maybe 2 years from now. will start on it

But you said you already have a coffey shop . . . why not just add like 4-5 computers in there and just see what the response rate is ? maybe they will stick around and drink more coffee and pay you to be there . . . worse case scenario is you will have 4-5 extra GOOD computers that you can outsource work to . . . ACTUALLY . . . why dont you buy the furniture and the 10 pc's then hire some of your friends in the phil for say like 1or2 dollars and hour and have them write articles for you that you sell on DP for more money . . . then you can use that money to open you Internet Cafe and STILL HAVE THE 10 employees writing articles paying your bills !

and then give some of the regulars some free hours of gaming for writing articles then you can get FREE WORK !

 

Hello, yes i have 1 coffee shop here. and NO i can't add computers in the coffee shop because the only license i have is to run Coffee shop business. and nothing else. actually i dont want to hire a article writer here. Well, i can wait 2-3 years to earn good money for this business. btw thanks for the comments and replies really appreciated it brothers.

I suggest you start a gaming zone instead of an internet cafe but then you need like $20,000 or more for this kind of business. I own a gaming zone in my place and it rocks. I never had to switch of lights in 4 months!!!

People love gaming zones... I mean they are addicted to playing Gears of War and World of Warcraft etc. I also sell Warcraft goodies there

For your information, I earned back my investment of $35,000 in 4 months

Im sure you will get a few customers in an internet cafe, but not enough to make it a great business. Too many people have internet at home now, I think all you will have in there is tourists. Although you could probably gain a small income if its in a great location.

because here in Philippines, $4K is a big money. Its 200,000 Pesos here and it can buy a 15 pc with software license, renovation, etc. it will be a good start but i dont think that i will spend the money for 15 pc's.

No i cant get few customers here, thats uhmm LOT of customers here .
because in our country province. 30% only have computers on their home, and 70% is no computers in their home. so i think in that %tage. I think lot of customers will come by in the internet cafe. and i think it will be good .

 

i would think that if you set up in a little niche area of your own you will be ok. I do not suggest doing it with a limited capital such as 4k US. but that should be enough to set up 10 to 12 units that are used and no legal software.( i figure most do the same thing) that should give you an earning of around 1,200 to 1500 pesos a day ( again depending on the area. the rest do the math such as rental. dsl monthly fees, someone to look over the business etc. if the math shows a decent return then go for it. i have seen others start with less than 3k US. they are still around and have gotten bigger. good luck

LOL i always told myself when i start making big USD dollars i would move to a 3rd world country . . . but now i can see the light for what i will refer to as "silly money" i can live in the US like it is a 3rd world country LOL . . .
