How to improve page rank

    We have rcently dropped from 4 to 3,and would like to improve, but have no idea where to start. Does any one have any advice? We are having our site redesigned so could incorprate major changes is necessary.

    you should concentrate on backlink bulding, have your link placed on websites with a higher PR then yours.


    so you should be looking for websites with PR4 and higher

    The majority of your organic links are coming from forum posts.. Forum post links are great for building link popularity however you will find that from a page rank or page strength point of view as soon as they get buried in the site or fall into the archive the links lose their weight.

    I would be interested if you wanted to exchange some links.

    PR is all about having authoritative backlinks to your site.

    -Submit articles to social networks (digg, reddit, etc.)
    -Write articles that would compel others sites to want to link to you
    -Get involved in blogcarnivals (blogcarnival.com)
    -Ask for link exchanges from niche related sites
    -Submit your site to directories
    -Comment on dofollow blogs
    -Use forum signatures with good anchor text

    I think you should work more on making your content of high quality. This makes other bloggers to write about your articles and thus increasing your backlinks automatically....also u need to submit articles to directories, a backlink source i prefer a lot...

    How to improve page rank? It's simple enough. Get high PR backlinks to your site, but you should concentrate on building traffic not PR:)

    I think i don't need to tell you same thing again . It is a guaranteed method and try to get some good back links from niche related blog and have higher page rank than you .
