What is the BEST way to get traffic to my blog?

WOW !

So many good ideas to get traffic. Some of these ideas work well and others are not that effective. The key for you is to find a method that works and repeate it over and over and over.

You obviously can't do everything at once - you would go bananas !

 

Isn't entrecard traffic worthless - like PTC?

 

I'd add lots more content and get free directory listings to start. Then I would exchange links with other bloggers in the area.

 

My blog is small, but because of absolute titles which include keywords in a way that people search for, I get good organic traffic which takes up upto 60% everyday.

That is worth it as time is taken to write a quality post but without good title and well branding, the post will be a dud.

So, mark my words(even though I am a newbie), generate quality content, think a very good title(u be in the searcher's shoes and think of the title and keywords), populate your post with some of the best keywords related to your post and submit it to many social bookamrking websites and just wait. Within 2 r 3 days you will see a very good result.

 

The best source of traffic shall be from search engines, which is organic and targeted in nature. How to get SE traffic? Concentrate more on contents because SE like unique and original contents and create them for human visitors and not for the bots. Then comes SEO to attract the bots towards your site. Keep building links on a continuous basis and more so from related niches. Let your traffic grow slowly but see that it is steady

up to my experience co.cc domains don't get much traffic from google.

Write more interesting posts. Content is a king.

 

Backlinks are king. Interesting content is one way of getting them.

 

Find some cool stuff which is popular but hard to find. Than offer that stuff on your blog . Promote it via social bookmarks and other networks . Visitors will keep coming back if you have quality stuff .

 

To get more quality traffic, you can submit your rss to rss directory, build link, submit articles and good content.

For high traffic of blog sites, i still prefer squidoo technique.
