What is the BEST way to get traffic to my blog?

What do you think will be the absolute BEST way to get adsense useful traffic to my blog. I currently average 500 impressions a day on my blog and It is reflected on my earnings! So how do you suggest I push this blog out?

I really need some advice here as I don't know which direction to head.

My plan is to push this blog out and sustain it while slowly branching into other interesting niches for me.

 

I would do the following: submit articles to article directories, comment on related blogs and participate in related forums with signature links.

Of course, adding more content will help a lot too. Each page of content can act as a landing page for specific keywords.

 

Join blog based communities as well, MyBlogLog.com, and create a few HubPages and Squidoo Lens .

 

Entrecard if your not already doing it has got me a regular flow of visitors.

But mainly keep adding quality content. Its what visitors come for!!

 

Simply don't stop links building.

 

Article submission and youtube video submission is the best way to gain traffic besides the traffic from search engine

 

Do keyword research to see what people are searching for.

Then write articles around that niche and submit the article to digg.com

Just keep doing it over and over.

I guarantee you it will work. All you need to know is the general trend people are searching for. Use google insight, google trends and google adwords keywords to find the data. You don't necessarily have to even use that exact keyword.

google adwords keyword tool - gives you the number of searches in the last month for the keyword

So for example your blog is about gaming right? Well you know right now that upcoming games aren't exactly that popular because they are in development and not many people know about them. What you could do is find out what you know of the game and write an article for it. Then submit to digg.com. Digg.com will push the article up to to the top 10 of the serp. Over time that article will gain, "power" over newer articles. When the game starts to get popular, more people will search and your article will be up in the top.

This is what I do to make money. The most important thing is chose the right keywords and find out what general trends people are searching in. You want to make the site when there is little to no traffic (and as a result, little to no competition). By the time traffic picks up you've already beat all the competition. When the traffic dies down the competition is too late to the game. When the traffic is highest (and as a result, advertising revenue) is when I'll sell the site for 12-18x revenues. There is no way I'll be able to maintain those adsense revenues knowing that eventually the fad will end and I'll get less traffic. Better off selling the site at inflated revenues.

 

You don't seem to get what categories are. They are not tags, They just divide your posts up into separate sections. It is a waste having "Play Station 3", "PlayStaion 3", and "PlayStation 3" as different categories because they are all the same.

From what I've seen, the best ways to get traffic to your blog are branding (logo, site template, domain), Having a credible domain (.com not blogspot.com with a .co.cc subdomain), and having a steady flow of well written, unique and readable/scannable posts.

 

Signature links in forums and comments on blogs. I've received comments and reciprocal links in return.

If you want tons of traffic, do social media, networking sites. if you want organic traffic, make can keywords top position on SE.

 

I suggest use entrecard, twitter.

also stumble your main site url.

 

For more traffic i would suggest the join some blog community and second Join the social networking sites.

 

Do some SEO.

 

Hub pages and squidoo lens are very good And useful techniques . but i don't like this because you have to optimize Them too and after that you will get some benefit From Them otherwise they are useless ...

 

Dude the only way to leverage digg like that is if you are already popular and have heaps of friends that basically vote for what ever you submit.

Are you trying to say that you manipulate the system by digging your own submission multiple times?
