Logo and Favicon contest $30 + bonus - instant thru PayPal for the winner!

I am in need of a unique Logo and Favicon for this Marketing Forum and Marketplace: http://www.marketersspaceforum.com/forum

Where better to get one then to offer a contest to DP members. So, I'm offering $30 for something unique, that matches the color scheem of the forum. If you need another color to add into the mix, you can use a very light cream, but it has to be something unique and different.

The logo needs a clear background. The rest I leave up to you, so surprise the heck out of me.

If you do, I may bump up the total prize to $50 if the winning graphic artist does an outstanding job.

And yes, you will be paid via PayPal!

I should have posted this in my original offer so I do apologize for not doing so.

Please post all logos and favicons in this contest thread so I can look at them in one place.

I think it's fair to ask contestants to post graphics here because everyone should be able to see the work. This is a competition, so let's get competative.

I don't suppose you can change that "M" icon on the left side into an "MSF" could you without blowing it out of proportion?

Well your favicon can be simple like

I asked about the MSF because it is the nickname of the forum .... kind of like "DP" for Digital Point" lol.

 

Yea Favicons are small 16x16 pixels so its hard to fit stuff in there most like a letter or symbol, if you have a symbol for your site I can put it in there

 

Will that icon you have on the logo work if you made it smaller?

If not can you come up with a unique design for one? Just something eye catchy. Thanks!

I appreciate your efforts guys, but no one seems to be wowing me at the moment. Dimitri is the closest to the wow factor though.

You know, you can make it cartoonish too with 2 people shaking hands or anything that resembles marketers networking, making deals, etc ... if you wanted to. The logo doesn't have to be all block letters.

Btw can everyone also post their Favicons with their logo entries?

Okay guys and gals,

All the comments I make about your work is not to be taken as harsh critisim. Honestly I'm one that speaks up about what something looks like, and I hope no one gets insulted. They are all fairly good, but some are just not close to what I am looking for.

Lol I'm just trying to get something that looks great on my site, and help you along the way.

Okay the logo on the left looks lots better! I'm not fond of the favicons though. Still need something original. Try checking out Watari's design. Maybe you can get some inspiration there.

The actual logo image to the left and the Favicon looks like it would be perfect for a dating site, not for a marketing site. I think it's because of the heart the figures make in the middle. BUT, I love your originallity!

The figures on the left remind me of 2 school kids walking to school. I like it lots, but just not for a marketing forum and marketplace. Need some other kind of image/symbol to the left, plus a different font.

Can I also see the favicon in it's real size please?

That's what I'm talkin about with originallity! Thanks! I like the symbol to the left lots and reverting it to the favicon. You did create that didn't you? or is it a replica of someone elses. Just askin is all .... If it's your own work, Hang on to it. I will at least buy it if you don't win the competeition.

You gave me an original piece of work, and I appreciate it, but I'm not real keen on the stamp look where it looks like part of the ink is missing, and part of it took.

That's better than your first, but I am looking for some kind of symbol. It can be abstract like Watari's. If I had to pick one of the 3, I go with the center one if that helps.


Think symbols guys more than actual images. A unique symbol where we can use it on the logo and as the favicon. And try making your fonts more crisper looking.

This is just a sugestion ...but some of you might even try creating something with a glassy look to it with a shadow or reflection with the fonts and/or background.


Right now if I had to pick 2 runners up, I'd go with:
