I think it kills a lot of credibility for your site if people can't order directly from you. If I have www.BuyGolfClubsOnline.com and every time someone clicks on a golf club to buy it, it redirects them to amazon, they will figure I'm just referring to get a sale and that they may as well go straight to amazon in the future. I want to get recurring customers. Is there any affiliate program (for general goods, not necessarily golf clubs) that will let you have your own shopping cart and checkout? Thanks.
This is something ive been wondering about too, i may be wrong but i think thats referred to as whitelabel, i may be wrong on that though. I think even setting up a site with affiliate products in place on an ecommerce script is an idea, but obviously not using the payment features within the script though, at least the products would look part of an online shop, to an extent i think. Anyone doing this? BTW, sorry for asking questions in your thread loktakwah
Associate O Matic comes with a built in cart system, but only works with Amazon. I'm not sure of a catchall affiliate script that will work with any datafeed.
Thanks for the info about associate-o-matic. If I can't find anything else, I may end up going with that.
