The traffic itself doesn't help in the SERPs, but the more people who see your site the more likely you'll get links back to your site. Those links will boost your site in the SERPs.
If I was not mistaken, cuil has that kind of algorithm... But most search engine doesn't depend on the traffic with SERPs.
Good answer. If getting a lot of traffic boosted your SERPs than most people would just get some PTC sites promoting sites, but that traffic is junk. One thing that DOES help the SERPs is when you get a lot of traffic that does not bounce right away. Your bounce rate is a small factor in SEO anyway.
certain social media sites have algorithm which gets you higher ranking within that network if you have good traffic. for example, Squidoo. however, for major search engines, traffic will not boost your SERP ranking.
Of course it won't affect your ranking. If traffic would be a factor, then ranking to search engines would be easy. Just by traffic and that's it!
Nope. Traffic has no effects on increasing your traffic for search engines... It's the SERP that may help increase or boost your organic traffic....
yes thats true, traffic does not have any effect on page rank search engines instead they just help the site to enhance popularity. SERP improves by caching, bookmarking, key word optimization etc
yes it is absolutely true that traffic helps in the search engine ranking, many news site are the good example of this
not true. News sites rank high because they produce huge amounts of content that people link to as they are an authoritative source. They don't rank high because they have more traffic.
