I was about to place a bid, but contacted Jelsoft first to see if I would have any issues with using the vBulletin name in the URL and I was told that I could not do this as it was a trademark name and they would pursue me to close the site down. Bit gutted really as liked this domain Dunno how other vBulletin named URL's manage to be okay.

 

Actually it's not illegal if you are using it for vBulletin projects or anything which involves vBulletin . The site involves all the links to the forums which are using vBulletin forums.

I have also contacted vBulletin and they told me this reason.

So its 100% safe to use.

If it would not have been safe, then vBulletin-faq or vbulletinseo etc would not exist. The wrong it is if you will use the domain like this for illegal; things like Warez/porn or hacking thing.

 

Not that I am going to trash your thread as I am not into that at all. But please do not make me out to be a lier.

So , finally I have asked at vB.org and they told that you have to take permission by opening a ticket. I did that and asked.
