Convinced The Tracking Is Not Working

    Listen to this.

I recently shut down my CB account in PPC 2 weeks ago. Yet I am still getting sales from my TID that I setup, today I even have 2 sales with 0 hops from a TID I only used in PPC, yet I haven't ran any PPC for this account in about 20 days.

How is this possible I haven't even ran that campaign for more than 2 weeks?

No, it's not backend sales either.

I opened a new account back on Jan. 5th because I swore there was a tracking issue 2 weeks ago, sure enough with my new account I had a record day on Jan. 5th with 11 sales for 1 product.

Since then sales have been 1 per day maybe and the funny thing is they are coming from my old CB account again that I haven't even ran a campaign for in weeks with my TID's I used in PPC.

I know with the traffic I am sending I should be doing 4-7 sales daily... when I created my new account I achieved this, but now the tracking issues have even seem to have caught up with my new account.

If I create yet my 3rd account and sales fly, it's seriously a CB issue.

its from cookies still enabled in the persons browser.. same thing happened to me today, I made a sale from a product which didn't even show the hop.. then it was 1:1 sometime later.

The customers don't necessarily buy once they visit the merchant's page....They can just save the website and come back to buy later. Your cookie will be there for 60 days, unless it's overwritten by someone else's.

I just had a refund show up on Jan 9th for a product that was purchased Oct 23/08. That is more than 60 days, yet it went through. Weird - it's almost as if their reporting is delayed or something.

I don't know what is up with Clickbank lately but this has been my worst week with them since I joined them over fifteen months ago. Maybe everybody got their Christmas credit card statements in the mail this week :)

More importantly, is there anyone here that's made a commissions from referrals?

I've been promoting CB since the late nineties, without making 1 commission from new vendors.

Although, other affiliate programs I use have a far better track record.

ALL of my last 11 sales have been PayPal transactions (no Visa, no MasterCard, no Amex)

That's 11 consecutive PayPals in a vertical row

Either people have stopped using credit cards online or I'm missing something
